Photography: Editorial, Events, Portraits
Picture Research: Fiction, Non-fiction, Art, Design.
My first ever picture research job was for Julian Rothenstein at the Redstone Press. He gave me the best brief ever when he asked me to “find maps of places that don’t exist” for a diary entitled True Places. Under his guidance I spent most of that summer in the British Library and was immediately inspired. I then went on to work for several major book publishers of fiction, non fiction, travel, art and design. After several years working in-house across numerous titles, I re-trained in photography at the City of Westminster College and launched a freelance business offering both photography and picture research. Today my clients consist of publishers, museum designers, charities, heritage and arts organisations and individuals.
Please get in touch if you have a photographic commission or picture research project you’d like to discuss in more detail and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
